My Black and White Fear
Last year I resolved to start Everybody Everywear in 2012 as I've non participated before, then I constitute out it was black and white. Oh, the HORROR!
And so originally I decided not to do it… and so changed my mind even though I knew I'd missed the EBEW deadline. I wanted to practice it anyway only for myself (and the challenge)!
This truly was a challenge for me: I live for colour, then if January had been orangish and green, or yellow and blue I would have been fine. Just I've bought some of my favourite clothes and shoes by trying on things I would NEVER normally wear, so blackness and white it was.
I will admit I didn't actually article of clothing this out – it was the outcome of a Sun spent trying on clothes, scarves and shoes to try and make something work. BUT now looking at the photos I really rather love this outfit and will definitely habiliment it out sometime soon. I loved this outfit merely because I mixed texture and blueprint – if I can't have colour and so I have to have pattern. I paired my Thomas Wylde skull scarf (THE scarf to have a few years agone and still one of my favourites) with stripes, and dearest the dissimilarity of skulls and a flower.
And then that's a lesson learned: I have to take up the challenge next time and get with it, not chicken out like a scaredy-true cat. Famous last words…?!
